Our Mission

What We Do

Hope House coordinates mission trips to fund and build orphanages around the world. As of 2017, Hope House Orphanages have been built in India, Honduras, Gambia, and a fourth one is currently underway in Russia.

The Facts

According to UNICEF (The United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund), if orphans were a country of their own, the population would rank 9th in the world—ahead of Russia.

Our Goal

How We Do It

Our goal is to finance and build an orphanage for children on every livable continent. Inspired by lack of proper conditions and schooling for abandoned children, Giving Hope initiated the Hope House outreach program. Our desire is to provide these precious children with the opportunity to know what it is to grow in a loving and nurturing environment which is essential to their growth. This will enable them to become productive, healthy adults and not just another statistic on the streets. Our volunteers travel to poverty-stricken communities and change the lives of young people in these communities who have so much to offer, yet so few resources to succeed. Through Hope House dedication trips, volunteers are blessed with the ability to change these children’s lives through the gifts of love and hope. The experience and time granted through these mission trips have undeniably been life-changing for all those involved.

Russia Coming 2018

We are currently in the process of constructing a fourth orphanage In Moscow, Russia. A group of volunteers will be sent on a mission trip in the summer of 2018 to work on its final stages. We are privileged to dedicate our 4th Hope House Orphanage Project in Moscow, Russia. If you are interested in joining us for this life-changing endeavor, please contact Cliff at [email protected].

Gambia 2016

During the summer of 2016, Giving Hope volunteers traveled to Banzul, Gambia to build and open our third Hope House orphanage.

Honduras 2015

In 2015, Giving Hope helped construct a new boarding school in Honduras called Plan Escalon. This facility is home to 600 orphans and economically at-risk students in junior high and high school. Giving Hope sent two teams to serve in the opening of Plan Escalon. The first team helped in the construction of both boys and girls dorms by helping to paint, hang doors, build fences, etc. The second team led the celebration of the new dorms’ completion as well as serving in a mountain village with some of the students. We have continued our support of the boarding school by donating equipment to train young students in basic auto mechanics.

India 2014

In the summer of 2014, our hope team traveled to Hyderabad, India to construct and open our first Hope House orphanage. “The house is equipped with a well, sanitary, playground, and bedrooms. There were 50 kids were able to sleep in a bed, have a birthday celebration, and have clean water for the first time in their life.”
