Giving Hope Senior Community is a new development for people seeking a safe, secure community set in a comfortable, pedestrian- friendly neighborhood environment.

Encouraging social interaction and individual expression within the framework of the community is the goal of any community, including Giving Hope. Giving Hope Senior Community is envisioned as a new community that offers seniors a comfortable, quiet and secluded neighborhood that is open and safe to serve their needs and desires for an active, independent lifestyle. Giving Hope Senior Community will offer its residents a choice of eight (8) design models to select from to enhance the diversity of structures within the neighborhood. The Master Plan calls for a single phase development process. When completed, this new New Orleans neighborhood will provide eighty-five (85) beautiful one-bedroom garden homes and cottages, each boasting plenty of yard space and porches to encourage social interaction.

Secured gate entry, parks, picnic and recreational areas that include a tennis court and dog park, along with a dedicated community center that will serve as the hub of all neighborhood activities are featured in this new community. Adjacent planned commercial amenities to serve the needs of this neighborhood include plans for a coffee shop, pharmacy and other commercial enterprises to serve this community and the overall community needs. The community center will have a separate vehicular entrance and visitor parking.
