Volunteer groups meet at the Food Pantry of New Orleans in New Orleans East. The groups are split up between the kitchen and the food box distribution pantry. In the kitchen, volunteers will be cooking, packaging, and delivering hot meals to senior citizens in need. In the pantry, volunteers prepare, serve, and interact with hunger-stricken citizens who come in for their monthly box of groceries. Corporate Hope days provide businesses with an opportunity for team building while giving back to their community. Below are stories of how our volunteers’ lives have been changed through giving back through.
