Food Pantry of New Orleans

Through partnerships with major groups such as Second Harvesters, Feeding America, Wal-Mart, The Military Commissary Program, Patissere and Gambino’s the Food Pantry is able to reach more families and elders each year. The majority of elders and families in which we feed have to choose between necessary medications and buying food. For these citizens, The Food Pantry of New Orleans has given them hope and allowed them to live without the stress of being food insecure. Currently, the Food Pantry is preparing, delivering, and serving hot meals five days a week as well as providing free boxes of groceries to over 850 households monthly, helping them to secure a basic need for their families. The Food Pantry is open Tuesdays – Fridays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m.-1 p.m. providing Hot Meals and groceries to food insecure households suffering in poverty.
